Yesterday I was exploring TeacherTube for educational videos and found millions. Today I decided that although I am already familiar with YouTube, to search it for educational videos and see what I could find. Surprisingly, there are many educational videos that are not on TeacherTube. I found one particular video that really relates to this blog and the technologies used. I found it to be really interesting in showing how so many technologies can be incorporated into everyday teaching. Feel free to check it out :)

I have used you tube in the past but not for engaging students as I have only recently had my first prac placement. The school I attended uses clickview though which is a database full of educational videos and I did get to use this on a couple of occasions. The beauty of this type of technology is it can also be used to embed within power points too! The power point i downloaded onto my blog is a medley of songs made to Queens tunes about bacteria and microbes. I will be able to use this the next time I go into the classroom and I think the students will love it too.
