I have been exploring Royalty-Free Music; Music FAQ; & Music Licences from INCOMPETECH and found a few pieces that could be incorporated into learning.
After exploring this site, I have found that there is potential for educational songs to be used in teaching in a few ways. For example, a teacher could ask the children to listen to a song and ask the students to explain what they think the artist was trying to communicate and was feeling at that time, ect. Also, a music teacher for primary school could play all the different types of music; jazz, classical, pop, rock, strings, etc. to the children to show them the differences between them.
The music on this site is all free to use and download straight to computers, so could very easily be downloaded and used in a classroom environment as a resource. Music being introduced into early education is a fantastic idea, which is most likely why alot of primary schools have music as a subject for their students.
