Hey all,
I would just like to introduce myself. My name is Carissa Burkins and I am 16 years old, currently studying at CQU via the SUN program. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the SUN program, it is a program that allows highschool students to undertake a subject at university to give them a taste of university, see which course is right for them or even just to give them a head start at uni.
I am finding being a SUN student a learning quite an overall positive experience, although challenging at times. It has really helped my orginisational skills and time management. So far I have completed the course Principles of Univeristy Learning, and am currently studying Managing E-Learning, (part of the Bachelor of Learning Management) which brings me to why I am here!
As part of Managing E-Learning assesment I am creating this blog to keep track of my learning journey and experiences. So far I have learnt quite a bit about developing technologies and the influences technology has on 21st century teaching. As I continue to learn, I will keep you all posted!

I think it's great that programs such as SUN are introduced to school students!

ReplyDeleteYes i think the SUN program is a great idea too, although it can be very stressfull on top of schoolwork and work sometimes!
I will also be following your ITC journey!
